Evergreen Clean Energy has kept us busy on several projects at their plant in Gypsum, CO. Including a truck off-loading platform, catwalks, expansions, and conveyor structural systems. Evergreen Clean Energy is a biomass plant. They cut beetle killed trees, grind into mulch, and burn the product at their plant to generate electricity to put back into the grid. It is a renewable energy source that in the process helps keep our forest clean and healthy.
KFX Coal Thermal Treatment Plant project is a 12 Story project located outside Gillette Wyoming. There is over 800 tons of fabricated steel in this project that was completed in 2005. The plant was developed to clean coal and reduce its mercury content using “K-Fuel” technology which uses pressure and high temperature in combination with time to squeeze water out of coal. The process upgrades the coal’s heating capacity and reduces mercury and sulfur content.
